Lion AlcoBlow

Use the Lion AlcoBlow to determine within seconds, whether employees are intoxicated prior to entering or exiting the workplace. This will assist you to substantially comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations pertaining to INTOXICATION.

A positive test result can be followed 20 minutes later by a retest using a LION A500 digital readout device or the LION SD400P, which provides printed evidence for use in hearings.

The instrument uses the Lion fuel cell as a sensor for breath alcohol, which gives it the following important features:

• always ready for immediate use, with no warm-up time.
• very low battery power requirements
• long working life: minimal calibration and maintenance requirements.
• high specificity to alchohol, unaffected by other breath contaminants.
